Mr. Ravinder Sethi, MD, RE Rogers Re-elected as the 2nd Vice President of Asian Federation of Exhibitions & Conventions Associations (AFECA)

Mr. Ravinder Sethi, MD, RE Rogers has been elected as the 2nd Vice President of Asian Federation of Exhibitions & Conventions Associations (AFECA). The announcement happened during the 13th AFECA Annual General Meeting that took place on 24th October in KINTEX, Goyang City, Korea. Being an election year, AFECA conducted elections for the 18 members Board for a term of 2 years comprising 1 President, 3 Vice-Presidents, 1 Honorary Secretary, 1 Assistant Honorary Secretary, 1 Honorary Treasurer, 1 Assistant Honorary Treasurer, the remaining 8 office-bearers shall serve on the Board as Board members and 2 Internal Auditors.

 

Mr. Ravinder Sethi has been actively involved across various global forums related the exhibitions industry and has a passion to contribute towards the growth of the sector through his involvement in all these forums. He also serves the second consecutive term as the Vice President of Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA).

 

Speaking at the occasion, he stated- ‘I feel privileged to be appointed the 2nd Vice President of AFECA, which comes as an opportunity to further serve the industry across the continent. This will also complement my role as the Vice President of IEIA as we could have greater avenues of closer cooperation with our counterparts in the Asian region.

 

Mr. Sethi is the first Indian to hold this position in the Board of AFECA. In addition, Mr. Sandeep Gurwara, Managing Partner, Services International and member of IEIA also got re-elected to the Board of AFECA for another 2 years’ term.
